Early monsoon trip to girivan with colleagues......

weekend getaways near pune..

Km travelled to reach from Nigdi, Pune - 40 km ...

Time taken - 1.5 hr...

Road - Scenic

On the way to girivan 

Check out the road .......3 cars....

Caution -  Big buses not allowed here.. rather it wont go there because very very narrow bridge on a river at the start of girivan ghat. Also ghat has many sharp and steep turns... nothing to worry much but be prepared for surprises if you are going first time. 

Security guy stops you to fill his entry sheet.. specifically your vehicle details and purpose of visit...

Visit to the girivan office ......... OM restaurant is besides the girivan main office

Inquiry and other information can be collected from the office...

If you want to stay there overnight.. Girivan offers good package including all meal and good stay options too..... You can book this in advance by calling to their office....

If you want to do one day picnic you may ask the same after reaching to office at girivan....

At OM restaurant - relaxing after having meal....

Had heavy lunch and checked in our Ekant Bunglow.... 3 BHK buglow was just perfect.. 

It was 3.45 Pm and time for rain dance .. Its is near to adventure park of girivan..... nice experience... 

It was raining outside as well .. 

Very near to it is a very beautiful waterfall.... Be careful there..... its very slippery 

Its time for some adventure.... everybody explored their talents....

There was earthquake noticed.... see how... 

Its called self weight lifting :-) 

Always there with you everywhere.....

From there we moved towards restaurant.. there is nice ground to play many games.... we played football and volleyball... many injured.. You will get ball and other game kits there on hourly basis or so..

We had high tea at around 6.00 at the same restaurant and returned to our bunglow for party .....

While retuning from Girivan we took route from Pavana dam via hadashi temple..... 

That road is awesome...
